Paraprofessionals
HeyTutor provides experienced paraprofessionals to support TK-12 students for school districts. Our paraprofessionals work in a variety of classroom environments, helping ensure students receive the individualized attention they need to succeed.

HeyTutor’s paraprofessional program delivers essential support to teachers by providing experienced and trained aides who contribute to fostering an inclusive and effective educational setting.
Assignments and Responsibilities
Our paraprofessionals are flexible in providing either 1:1 support or classroom assistance. Typically, a para is assigned to an individual student to offer ongoing support throughout the day. They become familiar with the student’s routine, communicate progress or concerns to school staff, and provide academic assistance as needed.
Key Services Provided:
- Supervision during non-instructional periods
- Facilitation of positive peer interactions and relationships
- Bus aid services for student transportation
- Personal hygiene assistance
Paraprofessional Instructional Support
We work closely with each school partner to understand the unique needs of their student population, ensuring that we provide the right support. Whether students require mild or more severe assistance, our team is equipped to deliver the following services:
1:1 or classroom aid
Bilingual or ASL services
Field trip assistance
Toileting/diapering
assistance
